Musical Theatre Audition Intensive

Service Description

Georgia Warner partners with a skilled accompanist to help actors elevate their go-to audition cuts, and expand their repertoire with contrasting material specifically chosen for each participant. Week 1: Actors prepare and perform their own 32-bar cuts, with live piano accompaniment. (Bring your books, and be prepared to sing an additional 32-bar cut if asked!) Song selections will be workshopped in the interest of specificity, discovery, and storytelling. Week 2: Actors prepare, perform, and workshop a ballad that Georgia will have assigned them in advance. The class will work to determine the necessary ingredients that each actor must put in place to ensure that all future performances of the same material stay reliably, fresh, grounded, present, and powerful. Week 3: Actors prepare, perform, and workshop an up-tempo that Georgia will have assigned them in advance. The class concludes with a mock-audition, wherein actors will present contrasting cuts from their previously workshopped material, and receive personalized feedback to help set them up for optimal success in all future auditions.

Cancellation Policy

PRIVATE COACHING Coaching sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24-hours in advance of the original booking time. Sessions cancelled more than 24-hours in advance of the scheduled booking are fully refundable, however sessions cancelled within 24-hours of the original booking will not be refunded. GROUP WORKSHOPS Actors may withdraw from a workshop up to 72-hours in advance of the first class to receive a full refund. Workshop withdrawals made within 72-hours of the first class will not be refunded.
